Musical still Lives by Evaristo Baschenis

In January 2020, Factum Foundation recorded two paintings regarded as studio works from a series of still lives of musical instruments by Evaristo Baschenis, belonging to Museo Arte Tempo in Clusone, Italy.  This was the first step in a collaboration between ARCHiVe and the Fondazione Giorgio Cini’s Early Music Seminars, directed by Pedro Memelsdorff, which aimed to identify eight paintings belonging to a series previously belonging to the monks of San Giorgio Maggiore.
