Textiles


Technologies developed by Factum Arte including systems such as the Lucida 3D Scanner have been used by the Factum Foundation to digitize tapestries and textiles at the highest possible resolution. The information recorded is processed by 3D and colour experts specialized in digital restoration while a team of textile restorers research the historical evolution of fabrics and colours and monitor the impact past interventions. This team of specialized textile restorers, engineers and printers have worked together to research and develop an effective system of digital restoration, colour matching and textile printing.
