Factum Foundation in collaboration with the Museo Civico in Bassano del Grappa has digitized fifteen albums with sketches by Antonio Canova. Factum Arte's Oak Taylor-Smith recorded the sketchbooks with Paola Perozzo y Edoardo Zanollo, two students from IUAV University (Venice) who previously cataloged the museum's Canova collection. The drawings were digitizsed over the course of one week.

The images recorded will be processed and assembled into digital albums. Two of these albums will be re-materialised as facsimiles for museums and researchers to access Canova’s preparatory drawings. The facsimiles will be made using materials indistinguishable from the original materials
